We are delighted to invite you to the ISER/BrightFocus 2017 Glaucoma Symposium taking place October 5-8, 2017 at the Emory Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Join us for an innovative scientific program focused on Glaucoma.

This symposium will bring together leaders in the field of glaucoma to discuss basic catalyzing treatments for the condition. We will employ a Gordon Conference format, anticipating that the intimate setting will encourage informal interaction and will offer ample opportunity to refresh or form new collaborations, develop novel hypotheses, and make new friends.

We are now accepting abstracts via the online submission form.

General Abstracts
Abstracts will be considered for poster or oral presentation. All primary authors must register for the full symposium. Deadline to submit, June 30.

Travel Award Abstracts
To be eligible for consideration of a travel award, you must be a student, postdoc within 5 years of terminal degree, or faculty within ten years of terminal degree. You must also check the box on the form that you wish to be considered for a travel award. Deadline to submit, June 2.

The Emory Conference Center is an all-inclusive venue. Your registration fee includes entrance to all symposium sessions, housing for the nights of Oct 5, 6 and 7, breakfast, lunch, breaks and dinner.*

*Students attending the BFF Fast Track on Thursday, your registration fee includes entrance to all symposium sessions including the glaucoma fast track, housing for the nights of October 4, 5 6, and 7, breakfast, lunch, breaks and dinner.

*A local registration fee for regular attendees and students will also be available for locals who only require meeting registration, breaks and lunch.

Students and locals must contact the ISER offices after June 8 to register.

Airport Information

Atlanta is serviced by Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. This is a major airport and most airlines have multiple flights a day in and out. The Emory conference center is approximately 16 miles and a 30 minute drive from the airport.

Shuttle Service

Airport transportation is available from Atlanta Superior Shuttle. Please visit the Atlanta Superior Shuttle website for rate information and reservations. Shuttle service from the Airport departs from the Ground Transportation Center.

Public Transportation

MARTA serves the Emory Conference Center Hotel. From Hartsfield International Airport take MARTA to the Lindbergh Station. From Lindbergh take the #6 bus directly to the hotel.

Directions and Parking

Parking will be available for a daily rate at the Emory Conference Center. Driving Directions can be found on the Emory Conference Center Map and Directions webpage.
